This work explores the cycle of preserving an inner child while raising a young one. As an artist and a mother, the balance of energy nurturing the inner child as well as fostering the next generation is a constant endeavor. Photography captures layers of ephemeral ink painting in water through tank depth and initiates the metaphor of psychological exploration. Once photographed, the image becomes the ‘under painting’ content for new brushwork until message resolution.
